Parallel Wor[l]ds is a one-day photobook display curated by Hengame Hosseini & Amirali Ghasemi.

Parallel to the BEYOND HORIZON exhibition at Tenthaus, Room for Doubt will display a collection of photobooks by Iranian artists and photographers. Join us for a chat and some refreshments, and flip through the books that recently travelled to Oslo.

PARALLEL WOR[L]DS was shown in Berlin last year at Kotti-Shop, parallel to a participatory exhibition called TRAVELOGUE. This year, our pop-up display in New Delhi, initiated by Hengame, was cancelled due to the war on Iran and the closure of borders. Now we are in Oslo, hoping the books we had in our Berlin archive find their enthusiastic audience—so please spread the wor(l)ds!
